A few weeks ago, I shared an intriguing surprise: inspiration cards designed to help you craft social media posts. I mentioned that I would regularly update these cards, so make sure to check back often for new ideas.

There’s so much you can do with these cards!

Here are some ideas for Facebook:

Card Message: “In [your book], this object that the protagonist touches has a story.” Prompt: Is there an object that holds special meaning for your main character? Share its backstory.

Use them to make your book more visible.

Use them on Facebook

Examples to Expand On:
Look at a specific object from your book and share its story. Insert the title of your book and add an engaging image.

“In [your book], the protagonist always carries a pocket watch. It’s not just an accessory; it’s an heirloom from an old friend. Do any of you have a cherished heirloom with a unique story? Share it below!”

“The teacup featured in Chapter 5 of [your book] isn’t just a cup. It symbolizes moments of peace and reflection for the main character. What helps you find peace? Share your story!”

“In [your book], an ancient map guides the protagonist through numerous adventures. It’s more than a piece of paper; it’s a life compass. Do you have a ‘compass’ that helps you make decisions? Share it with us!”

“The protagonist’s red shoes in [your book] symbolize courage and adventure. Do you have an object that empowers you? Share its story!”

Of course, you can replace ‘object’ with something else that better fits your book. Use your imagination! Or share how a painting, a vase, or something else inspired you during the writing process.

Post on X, formerly known as Twitter

“In [your book], the old key the protagonist always carries has a story. It once unlocked the door to their happy childhood. #nostalgia #StoryBehindTheObject” (Add an engaging image).

Blog Post

A lengthier post could delve into how each object the protagonist touches in your book has a backstory. For instance, you could discuss the origins of a magical sword in a fantasy novel and the meaning behind its inscriptions.

Benefits of This Approach for Book Visibility

What you’re doing with this strategy is more than just showcasing your book; you’re initiating a dialogue. Rather than broadcasting information one-way, you open a space for interaction and story-sharing. Not only does this help build a lasting connection with your readers, but it also enables you to authentically engage as an author.

The importance of a dedicated and active reader community can’t be underestimated; it’s a long-term investment with potentially high returns. This is central to my course, the Magical Marketing Master, where we dive deeper into how to implement these principles effectively.

This is all I can offer for you
